Sonam Kapoor is being considered. The biggest blockbuster of the year, ‘Dabangg’ has also wooed south film industry and they are keen to remake the film in Tamil and Telugu. The original heroine of the movie, Sonakshi Sinha was being approached but after she refused, Sonam Kapoor was approached.

Sonam was taking the project seriously but she has not yet signed the dotted lines. A source adds, "There was also buzz that the gorgeous South actress Kajal Aggarwal was being considered but Simbu insisted the makers to replace her with Sonam".

The Telugu remake will star actor Pawan Kalyan and the Tamil remake will star actor Simbu.
