Robyn Rihanna Fenty (born February 20, 1988), better known as simply Rihanna is a Barbadian R&B recording artist and songwriterBorn in Saint Michael, Barbados, Rihanna moved to the United States at the age of 16 to pursue a recording career under the guidance of record producer Evan Rogers. She subsequently signed a contract with Def Jam Recordings after auditioning for then-label head Jay-Z.

The album was nominated for nine Grammy Awards, winning Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for “Umbrella,” which features Jay-Z.Her fourth studio album, Rated R, was released in November 2009 and peaked at number four on the Billboard 200. Its first three singles, “Russian Roulette”, “Hard” and “Rude Boy” peaked within the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100, while “Rude Boy” peaked at number one. Loud, Rihanna’s fifth studio album, was released in November 2010, spawning the US and UK number one singles, “Only Girl (In the World)” and “What’s My Name?” and the international hit “S&M”.

Rebecca Alie Romijn (born November 6, 1972) is a Dutch American actress and former fashion model. She is best known for her role as Mystique in the X-Men films, and for her role as Alexis Meade on the hit show Ugly Betty.
Romijn was born in Berkeley, California, United States. She is the daughter of Elizabeth (née Kuizenga), a Community College teacher of English as a Second Language and textbook author, and Jaap Romijn, a custom furniture maker.Her father is a native of Barneveld, the Netherlands, and her mother is a third-generation Dutch American[4] who met Romijn’s father while staying in the Netherlands on a teen-age exchange program.Romijn’s maternal grandfather, Dr. Henry B. Kuizenga, was a Presbyterian minister and seminary professor.When questioned about always being glamourous and beautiful on the Ellen Show, Romijn reveal that as a child in her early teens that she was in fact an insecure ‘drama geek’ and as a result of her growth spurt she suffered from scholiosis and was constantly in pain. Many sources say that she was once nicknamed the “Jolly Blonde Giant” because of her 5 feet 11 inches (1.80 m) height, but she has admitted to making that up “for a laugh”.While studying music (voice) at the University of California, Santa Cruz,she became involved with fashion modeling and eventually moved to Paris for more than two years.

Hilary Erhard Duff (born September 28, 1987) is an American actress and singer. Duff has sold over thirteen million records worldwide;her contributions to the music industry have gained her commercial and critical success worldwide while Billboard ranked her the 69th Artist of the 2000s decade.
Branching into the fashion industry, Duff has also launched her own clothing lines, Stuff by Hilary Duff and Femme for DKNY Jeans, and two exclusive perfume collections with Elizabeth Arden as well as having been signed on to modelling agency IMG Models.[3] Other business ventures include writing a young adult novel Elixir and being accredited as an executive producer for According to Greta and a producer for the films Material Girls and Beauty & the Briefcase.
Abhishek, Kangana to play husband and wife in RGV’s ‘Department’!
0 comments Posted by pok at 10:09 AMAfter delivering a two part film 'Rakta Charitra’ last year, Ram Gopal Varma, who is now attempting to bring a dark action drama for his next tilted ‘Department’, has signed in actors Kangana Ranaut and Abhishek Bachchan as the main leads in the film.‘Department’ will be the second film for Kangana and Abhishek as the duo has earlier shared screen space in their upcoming film ‘Game’. Interestingly in this forthcoming RGV film, Abhishek and Kangana will be seen playing husband and wife.
Other than these two actors, the filmmaker is also bringing in Amitabh and Sanjay Dutt with interesting roles in ‘Department’.
Speaking about the story of this dark thriller, RGV stated, “The story is about three cops and the extra-constitutional activities they engage in to maintain a civil society. Kangana is the only person in the world that Abhishek's character can share his agony with. She plays a very intense role in this dark, gritty and real drama.”
Varma impressed with Kangana
RGV, who has signed Kangana on Monday, stated that he roped in the actress for ‘Department’ after seeing her breathtaking performance in films like ‘Gangster’ and ‘Woh Lamhe’.
"I wondered why we haven't worked together as yet! Kangna very much fits into my vision as a filmmaker. She is intense and emotional on screen.
I've wanted to work with her, from the time she appeared in Gangster and Woh Lamhe. But I didn't want to cast her in anything insignificant. The role had to justify her presence,” stated Varma.
Kangana spotted with Salman
It’s heard that recently Salman, who was in Mehboob studio busy shooting promos for ‘Ready’ with Asin, had wrapped up his shoot immediately after he came to know that Kangana was shooting in the same studio.
Speaking about Salman and Kangana enjoying each other’s company, a source stated, “He's extremely fond of her. The fact that he was extremely eager to spend time with her on the sets, speaks volumes. She, too, was excited about having him around.”
